What information is collected

• Consult requests: name, phone number, email address, an optional message, and a page-source tag (for example, which page you submitted from). The message field may include health-related information you choose to share.
• Bookings: appointment details you enter in the Halaxy booking widget (handled by Halaxy, not stored by this website).
• Analytics and security: standard web logs and Google Analytics / Ads measurement events (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information). reCAPTCHA may collect device and interaction signals to score form submissions.
• Clinical / session records: notes from therapy sessions are kept in the practice's clinical records system (typically the booking/practice platform), separate from this marketing website. They are not written into a website database.

How it is collected and held

When you submit the consult form, the details are emailed to the practice inbox. This website does not keep its own database of enquiry records — nothing is stored beyond the email that lands in the inbox (and any acknowledgement sent to you).

Booking information entered in the Halaxy widget is collected and held by Halaxy under their privacy policy. Server and CDN providers may retain short-lived technical logs as part of hosting this site.

• To protect the site from spam and automated abuse (reCAPTCHA)
• To understand how the website is used and to measure advertising performance
• To meet professional and legal obligations that apply to counselling practice

Third parties and data processing

Personal information collected through this website may be processed by the following third parties. Some operate outside Australia. By using the site or submitting a form, you acknowledge that information may be disclosed to these processors for the purposes below.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 and a Google Ads tag to measure visits and advertising performance. Those tools may set cookies or similar identifiers. There is no separate cookie consent banner; this disclosure is how analytics use is explained for Australian visitors.

You can limit analytics through your browser settings, Google's ad settings, or browser extensions that block tracking scripts.

Retention and security

Enquiry emails are kept in the practice mailbox for as long as needed to respond and for ordinary business record-keeping, then deleted or archived when no longer required.

Clinical records are retained for the period required by professional standards and applicable law (commonly at least seven years after the last contact for adult clients — confirm with your professional guidance). Reasonable steps are taken to protect information against misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access.

Access, correction and complaints
